Last week, ClearPeaks held their Academy training session on Advanced OBIEE 11g  in Egypt. The attendees of the course varied from Software Engineers, Project Managers, BI Consultants and Database Administrators who were trained by, Gianluca Nacci, a Senior Consultant at ClearPeaks bringing with over 10 years of hands-on knowledge and experience.

The attendees of the course were taught the features on BI with a special focus on the advanced features of 11g.  The training topics were covered through the course material and hands-on lab work, which gave the attendees the opportunity to learn and experience the technology on their own. The feedback was positive including comments such as a great first impressions to the Oracle training, useful knowledge gained and further interest into more in-depth knowledge and lab work. The trainees will take with them the skills and techniques to perform BI projects in their company.

In addition to the standard course content, Gianluca focused in detail on the advanced features of OBIEE 11g.  The training topics were covered and the feedback was positive with a further interest in more in-depth knowledge and training on 11g. Last week, ClearPeaks held an Oracle Partner Training Session on Advanced OBIEE 11g in Poland. The attendees of the course varied between BI Architects, Project Managers, BI Consultants and Developers & Programmers, who were trained by Alex Caminals, a Senior Consultant at ClearPeaks bringing with him over 10 years of hands-on knowledge and experience.

In addition to the standard course content, Alex focused in detail on the advanced features of OBIEE 11g. The recently developed Linux Virtual Machine proved to be key in the training, due to issues in 11g installation, which essentially sped up the installation process taking less than 45 minutes to complete, allowing attendees with installation issues to keep up with the training.

Under the circumstances of the problems faced with installation, the feedback was positive with a further interest in more in-depth knowledge and training on OBIEE 11g. The trainees will take with them the skills and techniques to perform BI projects in their company.
